Trawler capsizes in Bay of Bengal, all fishermen rescued

The trawler Ma Karunamoyee, which was returning to Kakdwip after catching fish, capsized in the Bay of Bengal when it collided with another trawler at around 6.30 pm, Joy Krishna Halder, president of the Kakdwip Fishermen Association, said.

The 16 fishermen on board the Ma Karunamoyee were rescued by other trawlers. They are on their way to Kakwip in other trawlers, Halder said.
