Airport Authority of India today undertook a trial run on shifting its international departure operations to the newly constructed terminal.
"In order to shift the international departure operations from (the existing) Anna International Terminal to the recently constructed new terminal, a dummy trial run was successfully conducted today," Airport Director H S Suresh said in a statement.
Accordingly, the in-line baggage system, common user terminal equipment, flight information display system were tested and found to be in order, it said.
