The bodies of Nirmaan Singh Munda and his wife Lagdu Munda were found at their home in Bada Sogai village on Friday morning, sub-divisional police officer of Seraikela Sumit Kumar said.
Police rushed to the spot on being informed and recovered the bodies.
Kumar said the couple was murdered with a sharp weapon and the identity of the attackers were yet to be known.
Munda had reportedly married a 23-year-old woman recently, the police officer said the reason for the killing was being investigated.
