Tributes paid to former CM on his birth anniversary

: PCC president A Namassivayam led functionaries and cadres of the opposition Congress here in paying floral tributes at the portrait of former Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader P Shanmugham on his 89th birth anniversary today.
PCC office bearers, delegates of different wings of the party and legislators were among those who recalled the services of Shanmugham who was PCC president for more than 30 years since 1970.
Shanmugham was also a Lok Sabha MP.
