Model-turned-actor Freddy Daruwala says it's difficult for outsiders to create a base for themselves and get exciting roles in the film industry.
Freddy made his debut as an anti-hero with Akshay Kumar starrer "Holiday- A Solider is Never Off Duty" and he was then seen in John Abraham's "Force 2".
He is now looking forward to the release of "Commando 2" that features Vidyut Jamwal in the lead.
"It gets tricky how to break in. Vipul Shah (producer of "Commando 2") has invested in me and Vidyut Jamwal. He wants us to do good work. I am meeting other people, giving auditions. It's difficult but not impossible to break in," Freddy told PTI.
Freddy plays a mysterious character of ACP Bakhtawar Khan in the film, directed by Deven Bhojani.
"He (his character) follows law and order. The character is an integral part of the film. Till the very end you wouldn't be able to decide if he is a negative character or a positive one," Freddy said.

Considering that Vidyut is the face of "Commando" franchise, Freddy isn't worried about his screen space in the sequel that hits cinema houses on March 3.
The model-actor is open to doing all kinds of films be it big or small but the role has to be challenging enough for him to take up.
"After 'Holiday', I got lot of offers but in those films the character did not have much importance. But most of the offers were for villain roles. I have no qualms in doing a small film. It's about doing quality work," he said.
"2016 was busy year for me I had 'Commando 2', 'Force 2', 'Umeed' and I am doing a regional film. It is a romantic comedy. I am trying to explore myself as an actor," he added.
