Trinamool MP Shatabdi Roy sends representative to ED

Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP Shatabdi Roy today sent a representative to the office of the Enforcement Directorate here as she could not appear owing to the ongoing Parliament session.
Roy was summoned by the ED for questioning in connection with the multi-crore Saradha scam which the agency is probing.
"Roy was asked to appear before the ED officials today for questioning regarding the Saradha scam. But she sent a representative instead as Parliament is in session," a source in the agency told PTI.
The MP was allegedly appointed as a brand ambassador of the Saradha group.
