The accused -- identified as Rahul, a resident of the Sankarpur area of Delhi and Tanuj Gobal and Ashutosh, both residents of Ghaziabad district -- used to at night target houses whose occupants were away and also rob people.
Police have recovered an SUV, Rs 5,500 and a mobile phone from their possession.
"We received information that some wanted robbers were coming towards Vaishali crossing late last night, whereupon we laid a trap and arrested the accused, who have confessed to their involvement in robbery cases," said a police officer.
