Neil, who was found in the flat in a badly injured state, was undergoing treatment a nursing home here and was arrested after he was discharged, a senior police officer said.
Neil had tried to kill himself after allegedly murdering his wife Jessica Fonseca (49) and their twin sons - Darren and Joshua - and was badly injured, the officer said.
Blood-soaked bodies the three were found in the bedroom of the third floor apartment at the posh Palm Avenue with their throats slit and heads badly thrashed by heavy objects on the morning of January 16.
Darren and Joshua were students of Class IX.
Later, when produced at a city court, Neil was remanded in 14 days police custody.
