This apart, Tribal Welfare Minister Aghore Debbarma said in a statement that the state government had given land rights (Patta) to 1,20,418 tribal families since 2008.
Besides, the state government had given them jobs under MGNREGA, funds under Indira Abas Yojna (IAY) and grants from different departments.
Debbarma said, the government had sent a proposal of Rs 444.16 crore to the central government for proper rehabilitation of the tribals in the state.
About 60 per cent of the state territory was under forest land, he said.
