Truck catches fire, three inmates escape unhurt

A Jammu-bound truck today caught fire on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Banihal area of the Ramban district, but no one was injured, police said.
A cooking gas cylinder kept inside the truck leaked and fire engulfed the vehicle, a police officer said, adding that it took 30 minutes to control the fire and restore traffic on the national highway.
Driver of the truck, identified as Mohammed Ishaq, and two other escaped unhurt, he said.
