The money was given to the driver by a businessman from Amroha district, and it was to be handed over to a party in Panipat, SP (Rural) M M Baig said.
The truck driver and cleaner sustained minor injuries during the loot that took place late last night, he said.
Baig further said both of them are also quizzed to investigate whether they were part of the loot plan.
