Truck hits police patrolling jeep; constable dead

A police constable has been killed and two other officials were injured when their patrolling jeep was hit by a truck in Rajsamand district here.
The truck coming from Nathdwara hit the jeep from behind last night, killing 37-year-old Ram Singh Chundawat on the spot, SHO Delwada Samiullah Khan said.
Jeep driver Kishan Lal and head constable Jasraj were rushed to hospital for treatment, he said.
Meanwhile, the truck driver has been arrested and a case registered against him, police added.
