Truck rams into two motorcycles, three killed

Three persons including a girl were killed and three others were injured when a speeding truck rammed into two motorcycles in Chakeri area here, police said today.
24-year-old Deepak was on his way back home yesterday with aunt Poonam (49), daughter Riya (4) and son Akash (5) when a speeding truck hit the motorcycle they were riding on at Mangla Vihar highway here, they said.
While Deepak and Riya died on the spot, Poonam and Akash are critical, they said.
According to the police, when the truck driver tried steering away from the spot, the vehicle lost control and hit another motorcycle.

Manoj (21) and Saroj (19) who were riding the bike were rushed to the hospital where Saroj was declared brought dead, they said adding Manoj is still critical.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem police said adding the truck driver and cleaner are absconding.
