In this regard, Bird Information Systems Pvt Ltd (BIS) has entered into a strategic partnership with Turbo Megha Airways, which operates TruJet.
BIS would provide the booking technology for the airline inventory hosting, reservation at all city and airport offices, call centres and Internet booking engines.
"Through the use of AIRS (Airline Inventory and Reservations System), TruJet will have access to a user friendly GUI (graphical user interface) which will enable their partners to make online reservations quickly and easily," both companies said in a statement today.
Besides, TruJet would get departure control system for their airport operations.
BIS is a leading technology provider of automated aviation and travel related software solutions.
Currently, TruJet has operations across Hyderabad, Tirupati, Rajahmundry and Aurangabad airports.
Bird Group's Executive Director Ankur Bhatia said strategic alliance would provide an opportunity to empower an airline with the latest technology to improve their operational efficiency.
"We opened our bookings on July 10... AIRS is beautifully supporting all our distribution channels -- Internet, call centre, web services (portals), and travel agents," Turbo Megha Airways' Director (Commercial and Finance) Prem Kumar said.
