US President Donald Trump today said he has a "little gift" for North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, which he will give him in his next meeting.
Trump held a historic summit meeting with Kim in June during which the North Korean leader signed an agreement on denuclearisation.
Before heading to Europe for the NATO summit, Trump was asked about news reports that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recently delivered to Kim a CD of the song 'Rocket Man' by Elton John on his behalf.
They didn't give it. I have it for him. They didn't give it. But it will be given at a certain period I actually do, I actually do have a little gift for him, but you'll find out what that gift is when I give it," Trump said.
Trump was asked if Pompeo actually gave a copy of John's 1972 album 'Honky Chateau' to Kim during his recent visit to Pyongyang.
The album contains the song 'Rocket Man' which is a familiar tune at Trump's rallies, and a title the president famously used derisively to describe Kim at the UN last year.
