Ahead of his trip to Asian countries next month, US President Donald Trump has said that he may visit the demilitarised zone along the South Korea border with the North.
Details of his trip are still being finalised.
"We'll take a look at that. I didn't hear in terms of provoking, but we will certainly," Trump said when asked if he intended to go to demilitarised zone (DMZ) and if he is afraid of provoking North Korea by going to the DMZ.
Trump said next month he will be travelling to South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam and may be Philippines.
"I look forward to all of them. We haven't set the details, as of this moment," he said.
Trump's Asia travel from November 3 to 14 will underscore his commitment to longstanding American alliances and partnerships, and reaffirm its leadership in promoting a free and open Indo-Pacific region, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said.
