Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams that governs the Lord Venkateswara shrine, near here, will soon construct a temple dedicated to the Lord at Amaravati, the upcoming new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
TTD Board chairman Putta Sudhakara Yadav told reporters that the board, during its meeting today, resolved to sanction Rs.150 crore for the construction of a Lord Venkateswara temple complex at Venkatapalem.
The board also decided to build a pilgrim amenities complex at an estimated cost of Rs 79 crore at Tirumala Hills here, he said.
Meanwhile, a temple official told PTI that a copy of the plan for the construction of the temple at Amaravati was recently shown to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
