At a function held at the AIADMK headquarters here, the first copy of the manifesto was released by senior party leader 'Panruti' Ramachandran.
It was received by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in the presence of Dinakaran, AIADMK Amma candidate for the bypoll in the constituency here, and senior party functionaries.
Listing some features of the manifesto, Dinakaran said, a multi-super speciality hospital at Tondiarpet besides 10 mobile hospitals in R K Nagar constituency would be set up.
To a query on the agitation by state farmers association in New Delhi entering the 14th day today, Chief Minister Palaniswami said a team led by Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker B Thambidurai along with representatives of the farmers association had already met senior Union Ministers including Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the issue.
Bypoll to the R K Nagar constituency was necessitated following the death of AIADMK supremo and former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in December 2016.
