A Turkish media group says its chief executive officer, businessman Murat Sancar, has survived an armed attack in Istanbul.
The Star Media Group says two masked men rammed a vehicle into Sancar's car on Thursday before opening fire on it. It said neither Sancar nor his driver and body guard were hurt. The assailants have not been caught.
Star Media Group owns the pro-government Star newspaper and the news television channel, 24.
The motive for the attack was under investigation.
It comes amid increased violence in Turkey and a government crackdown on terror groups, including the Islamic State, the Kurdish rebels and far-left militants.
