At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, turmeric for delivery in April month was trading higher by Rs 142, or 2.18 per cent, to Rs 6,668 per quintal with an open interest of 10,970 lots.
The spice for delivery in the far-month May contract increased by Rs 124, or 1.88 per cent, to Rs 6,732 per quintal, in an open interest of 4,670 lots.
