Turmeric and jeera prices recovered by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today largely influenced by fresh buying support from retailers and stockists amid paucity of stocks.
Turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 6,200-11,200 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to finish at Rs 10,900-11,100 and Rs 13,400-14,400 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against restricted arrivals from producing belts, mainly pushed up turmeric and jeera prices on the wholesale kirana market here.
