Turmeric and jeera prices rose further by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on increased buying by stockists.
Further, restricted arrivals from producing belts supported the upside in prices.
Turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 7,800-12,500 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to finish at Rs 11,200-11,400 and Rs 14,500-14,800 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying by retailers and stockists against restricted arrivals from producing belts pushed up turmeric and jeera prices.
