Turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 7,200-12,700 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to finish at Rs 12,000-12,400 and Rs 16,000-16,200 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said fresh buying support from retailers and stockists amid restricted arrivals from producing belts, mainly pushed up turmeric and jeera prices on the wholesale kirana market here.
Ajwain 13,500-18,500, black pepper (per kg) 550-680, betel-nut (kg) 180-200, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,000-1,100 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,150-1,290.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 680-780, cardamom (colour robin) 630-730, cardamom bold 680-730, cardamom extra (bold) 830-930 and cloves (kg) 850-900.
