Addressing a legal awareness camp on Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism (ADRM) here, he said time has come to make legal awareness a movement in order to provide quick justice to poor litigants.
Asking lawyers to advise their clients for filing only such cases which could not be solved by Lok Adalats or by ADRM, he said most of the cases could be resolved without going to the courts.
"If this is done it will be a real justice to the poor people," he said.
Stating that lawyers have a significant role in providing guidelines to their clients as they first knock at their doors before moving the court, the chief justice said that correct advice by lawyers to their clients would not only spare their pockets but also the clients would come to them.
Laying the foundation stone for a building for the 6th Nyaya Sadan in Jharkhand in the campus of Civil Court here, he said cases for mediation through ADRM would be taken up at the Nyaya Sadans.
