The incident occurred when two persons riding a motorcycle met the tusker on the highway near Gorumara forest yesterday evening, Gorumara Division Forest Officer Sunita Ghatak said.
Ghatak, who herself was a witness to the incident, said the tusker did not cause any harm to the men even when they were running away seeing their helments thrown up. The animal then walked into the forest.
