Tutul, Rohan share lead at Usha IGU Delhi juniors

Tutul Ali and Rohan Rana shared the opening day's honours at the Usha-IGU Delhi junior Golf Championships with identical cards of even par 70, here today.
The duo was two shots clear of the field with the next golfer, Mohan Sardar in third place with a 73 in Category 'A'.
Tutul, coached by former India pro Indrajit Bhalotia, is a nephew of former Indian Open winner, Feroz Ali, and has represented India at the Callaway World junior Championships last year.
Rana had one birdie and two bogeys on the front nine, but then back-to-back birdies on 11th and 12th put him under par. A late bogey on 18th brought him back to even par.
Tutul, playing aggressively had six birdies, two on front nine and four on the backstretch. But he also dropped three bogeys on both stretches.
Shubham Narain, Jairaj Singh Sandhu and Tapendra Ghai shared the fourth place with rounds of 74 each.

Kartikey Vashisht, second at Haryana Junior in the first event of the season, shot 77, while Manu Gandas carded 75.
In Category 'B', Jaiveer Singh held the lead with a round of 74 with Arjun Prasad in second place with 75 along with Hassan Rahman.
There are 74 players in the field of the event, which is recognized by the IGU.
