TVS Motor Harita sells 34.9 lakh shares of TVS for Rs 81 crore

TVS Motor Harita Employees Welfare Foundation has sold over 34.9 lakh shares of TVS Motor for about Rs 81 crore through open market transaction.
According to the bulk deal data available on BSE, TVS Motor Harita Employees Welfare Foundation Pvt Ltd has sold 34,92,336 shares of TVS Motor.
The shares were sold on an average price of Rs 231.48, valuing the transaction at Rs 80.84 crore.
Meanwhile, in another transaction at the NSE, TVS Motor Harita Employees Welfare Foundation Pvt Ltd sold more than 23.75 lakh shares of TVS Motor Company for about Rs 55 crore.
The transaction was carried out at a price of Rs 231.

As per the company's June quarter shareholding pattern, TVS Motor Harita Employees Welfare Foundation holds 94,33,000 shares or 1.99 per cent stake in TVS Motor.
TVS Motor Company has posted a 24.82 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 90.27 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
Shares of the company ended the day at Rs 232.55, up 0.67 per cent on BSE.
