Two arrested for killing co-worker

Two persons, hailing from Mizoram and Manipur, have been arrested in connection with the murder of a co-worker, also from Mizoram, police said today.
Tanginpa alias Benjamin, a native of Mizoram and Chinlamtang alias Henry, from Manipur were arrested last evening, police said.
The case pertains to the killing of their co-worker identified as Cheva by the duo last week.
Attacked by Benjamin with iron rod, he had succumbed to his injuries while another person, Keema, had sustained injuries in the attack by the two accused.
A police release here said that all four were employed in a restaurant at Kolathur and were staying there.
Cheva and Keema used to provide 'wrong information' about the other two following which Benjamin was fired from his job, the release said, adding, that Benjamin had in an act of retaliation carried out the attack in the wee hours of March 13 with the help of Henry.

Cheeva died on spot and the two fled from the scene, it said.
Three special teams were formed to nab the culprits, the statement said, adding, they were apprehended last evening.
The accused were produced before a local court and remanded to custody, the statement added.
