Two arrested for stalking, eve-teasing minor girl

Two men have been arrested for allegedly stalking and eve-teasing a 14-year-old girl who had approached the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) for help.
"The girl was on her way back home from the vegetable market when the incident took place. Two men started stalking and tracing her from the vegetable market. They allegedly passed abusive remarks and eve-teased her at a secluded place," a DCW official said.
"The girl called her sister and narrated the incident. The men allegedly hit her sister when she came for her rescue. The complainant has also alleged that they had dialled police helpline and waited for a PCR for four hours but did not get any help," he added.

The girls then called up the DCW helpline following which a counsellor from the women's body accompanied them to the police station and the duo were arrested.
