Two arrested with 14 gm heroin

Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department officials today seized 14 gm of heroin from the Mizoram-Myanmar border Champhai town, the department spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said Zoremsiama (25) and Zoremsiami (27), both from Khawzawl town were arrested in this connection.
The two accused, one a woman, were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
