Two arrested with 25 kg of poppy straw in Jammu

Two persons were today arrested and 25 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered from their possession in the Gujjar Nagar area of Jammu city today, a police officer said.
During a surprise checking, a car was frisked from which 25 kg of poppy straw concealed in plastic bag was recovered, he said.
He said that both the inmates of the car were arrested and booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
