Two auto-lifter gangs busted, six held

With the arrest of six men and recovery of 18 motorcycles in South-East Delhi, police today claimed to have busted two gangs of auto-lifters active in the national capital.
According to police, 24-year-old Vivek Kumar was nabbed near L Block, Kalkaji when he along with his associate was trying to steal a car.
His accomplice identified as M Ahmed managed to flee.
A master key and several other lock breaking equipments were seized from him. Eight stolen motorcycles have been recovered on his instance so far, police said.
Meanwhile, Chander Bhushan (22), Dheeraj (38), Ajesh Pal alias Ajay (34), Raju Kumar (32) and Untesh Singh (28) were apprehended by the staff of Okhla Industrial Area police station after one of member of the gang, Chander Bhushan, was nabbed during police checking with a stolen bike, police said.
Cops have recovered 10 motorcycles on their instance which were stolen from different parts of the city.
