A Nawada court Fridaysentenced two brothers to life imprisonment for throwing acid on a girl.Mohammad Amir Hasan and Mohammad Ahsan Alam were held guilty of the crime by Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ) Kaushalesh Kumar.The court also slapped a fine of Rs 3,20,000 on both of them, Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) Anil Kumar said adding, that Rs 3,20,000 will be paid to the victim's family.The incident occurred on September 19, 2015 in Pachrukhi village of the district.Amir wanted to marry the girl who refused his proposal after which he with the help of his brother and another person Mohammad Bilal threw acid on her while she was sleeping at her home in Pachrukhi village, the APP said.The victim's face and parts of her body were badly burnt while her younger sister too received burn injuries, the APP added.Bilal, the third accused in the case, is still absconding, APP said.
