Two brothers shot dead in Ghaziabad

Two brothers were shot dead allegedly by unidentified persons at their residence in Loni area here today.
Four youths, who were on two motorcycle, stopped their two-wheelers outside the house of Manoj (40) and Balraj (35).
"Two of them, wearing helmets entered the house and opened fire at Manoj and Balraj from a close range while the other two were escorting them by staying outside.
"Balraj died on the spot, while Manoj succumbed to bullet injuries on way to the hospital," said a senior police officer.
A case has been registered against the four accused, who escaped from the spot after committing the crime, he said.

"As per preliminary investigation, personal enmity may be the cause behind the crime that appears to have been committed by contract killers," the official said.
