Two college students drowned in Erode district

Two college students drowned in Kodivery reservoir near Sathyamangalam in the district, police said today.
The deceased Arunkumar (23) and his friend Santhosh (21), both from Nilgiri district had gone for a bath in the reservoir on Thursday evening, along with seven other students.
While returning, the others found Arunkumar and Santhosh missing, following which they lodged a complaint with the police, who launched a search for the duo.
The bodies were retrieved from the reservoir around 6 PM, they said.
