The arrested policemen were identified as Police Naik Sunil Marathe and Police sepoy Pramod Mahajan.
Superintendent of Police Sandeep Karnik said they had sought bribe from the complainant alleging that he was illegally transporting foodgrains. They had detained his truck and wanted the bribe for releasing it.
After the complainant approached the ACB, it laid a trap for the duo at Kapurbawdi circle here at about 12.35 pm and arrested them while accepting the bribe.
Offences under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act have been registered against the duo.
