Two cops fight at toll plaza, departmental inquiry ordered

A fight allegedly took place between two police personnel at a toll plaza on Yamuna Expressway in Mat, following which a departmental inquiry into it has been ordered, a police official said today.
According to a constable, there was allegedly an altercation between sub-inspector Raj Kumar Giri and sub-inspector Rajendra Singh Yadav over some misunderstanding yesterday which led to a fight.
Both the sub-inspectors were injured in the fight, he said.
"Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mat, Sanjai Kumar, would probe the incident," SP (Rural) Arun Kumar Singh said.
On the basis of complaints by both the sub-inspectors over telephone the probe has been ordered, the officer said.
