The incident occurred when the Nawanshahr-Chandigarh bound private bus, coming from opposite direction, rammed into the car at Barnala Gate on Nawanshahr-Chandigarh Road, near here, they said.
Five other occupants of the car, who sustained injuries, were admitted to a nearby hospital where condition of two is stated to be critical, police said.
The police have impounded the bus and started investigation.
