Two criminals held after encounter on Delhi outskirts

Jhajjar SP Anil Dhawan told reporters that they were involved in over 10 cases of robbery, loot, vehicle snatching, attempt to murder and extortion in Delhi and Chandigarh besides Haryana.

They were arrested after they opened fire at the police during a checking drive on the Mandhothi road near Aasudha village last night, he said.

Six pistols, 10 magazines and 13 cartridges were seized from them, he said.

They were today produced before a court in Bahadurgarh which remanded them in police custody for seven days.
