The programme is being held at 16 different locations in India, including Coimbatore, V Murali, Chief Coordinator of Coimbatore, told reporters here today.
The programme is held twice every year in February-March and August-September through its Committee for Members in Industry (CMII).
Stating that about 120 companies had participated in the programme in 2013 and 1,600 candidates were offered jobs by leading Indian companies, he said companies mostly belonged to industries like IT, financial services, oil and gas refining, banking, BPO, telecommunication and mining.
Asked about the number of companies and candidates this year, he said the institute has to work out the entries and a clear picture would emerge in a week.
The minimum scales would be Rs 3 lakh per annum for CAs, but would depend on the grade and merit candidates received in the examination, he said, adding that 10 per cent of the candidates who appeared for the camp was placed.
The left out candidates would have an opportunity in August-September, Murali said.
