With a major focus on nurturing research in ayurveda, a two-day International Research Seminar on Ayurveda (IRSA) will be held in Birstein, Germany, from September 14.
The seminar, the first of its kind, would provide an opportunity for young researchers across the world to showcase their work in ayurveda, city-based Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (AVP) Managing Director Dr P K Krishna Kumar said.
Researchers have been invited to submit their works by sending abstracts through online module for the seminar, being jointly organised by AVP Research Foundation.
A white paper on "directions for Future Research in Ayurveda", will outline the methodological approach, strategies, priorities and action plan for collaborative research in Ayurveda, he said.
Dr Ram Manohar, Director of AVP Research Foundation, said nearly 300 delegates from across the globe were expected to participate in the event.
The seminar, jointly organised by the Foundation, European Academy of Ayurveda and Unni Moss Foundation, Thrissur, will be preceded by the 16th International Ayurveda Symposium from September 12, Manohar said.
