Jitendra Jain (50) and his wife Sangeeta (45) were killed in the accident near Payagpur power house, police said, adding that their family was on its way to Ayodhya for pilgrimage.
The injured, including their daughters and the car driver were rushed to the district hospital, from where one of the daughters was referred to Lucknow Trauma Centre in a serious condition, they said.
