The duo, Mridul Das (28) and Pauteuateuing Zeme (19), were nabbed late last night from Kana Basti area on the basis of a tip-off.
One .22 pistol, some live cartridges and extortion notes were recovered from them.
Police are contuining the interrogation of the nabbed militants.
