The mishap took place when Dattaram Juvale (52) and his son Sudesh (15) were catching fish on the banks of Vasishthi river near Vadad village, they said.
The river was in full spate due to heavy rains in the district and the duo were swept away by the strong currents, they said, adding that their bodies were recovered late in the evening.
