Two foreign nationals - a Somalian and a Sudanese - were arrested tonight, after they allegedly tried to push a software professional from Greenlands flyover, police said.
Abdul Kadir (Somalian national) and Mohammed Iniyat (Sudanese national) on a motorbike continuously honked at software professional Anup, who was on another two-wheeler, and followed him to Begumpet area where the flyover is located.
After the two foreigners overtook his motorbike and started arguing with him, they allegedly tried to push him from the flyover and also threatened him with dire consequences.
Meanwhile, locals intervened and informed the Panjagutta police, which took the foreigners into custody after the complaint. Preliminary investigation revealed that the foreigners were drunk. Further investigation is on, a police officer said.
