Two farmers electrocuted in Telangana

Two farmers died of electrocution today at Putnoor village, nearly 65 km from here, police said.
According to police, K Chinna Rajaiah (45), had got an electric fence laid around his agriculture field to protect the crop from wild animals. However, Rajaiah himself came in contact with the fence and collapsed today.
"On seeing Rajaiah falling to the ground, his neighbour K Srinivas (40) rushed to help him, but was also got electrocuted," an officer from Ramagundam police station said.
A case has been registered and investigation is on, police said adding that the bodies were shifted to a government hospital for autopsy.
