Two fliers have been held at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) here for allegedly carrying live bullets in their baggage.
Officials said two such incidents were reported yesterday, with the first involving a lady flier bound for Jaipur who was found carrying a bullet of .32 mm calibre by CISF officials during security check.
In the second incident, a passenger travelling to Amritsar was carrying five bullets, also of .32 mm calibre in his hand baggage.
"Both the fliers were handed over to Delhi Police as they could not produce valid documents for the ammunition which was recovered from their bags and seized," they said.
Carrying arms and ammunition inside the aircraft is banned under law.
