The victims were identified as Manchan (13) and Ram Dei (12), both residents of village Khalwara.
Both the girls were going to give lunch to their fathers, who were working in the village fields, when they found an envelope on their way containing some substance.
The girls fell ill after partaking the substance and were rushed to a local hospital where both of them died last evening.
Police have registered a case and are investigating it.
