Two groups clash over Rs 172 in UP

Heated argument between two people allegedly over a meagre sum of Rs 172 today resulted in a clash between two groups who resorted to stone pelting in Muradnagar area here, police said.
Anas, a resident of Muhalla Hakimpura owed an amount of Rs 172 to one Shehzad. Later, both started exchanging heated arguments following which a clash broke out between two groups, SHO Muradnagar Ummed Yadav said.
Police reached the spot with heavy force and brought the situation under control, Yadav said.
No FIR has been registered in the incident, police said, adding they are investigating the matter.
