Two held for hunting rabbit

Two persons were arrested on charges of hunting wild rabbits inside a forest area, today.
The forest officials in Allapalayam near here found two persons moving in a suspicious manner and on search recovered six wild rabbits from them.
Interrogation revealed that they, identified as Sakthi and Rangan belonged to Thipalayampudur and used to enter to hunt wild animals, department sources said.
The officials also seized some rabbit meat and hunting weapons.
